Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP)

  • Provides skilled nursing care and/or personal care support based on medical necessity to medically fragile children under the age of twenty years and 11 months.

  • Provide quality services, consistent the medically necessary needs of individual child. All services must be accompanied by a physician's order.

  • Provide quality service in the home setting.

  • Personal care support personnel provide care to eligible GAPP members such as feeding, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, preparation of meals, light housekeeping around the member's personal space, assisting with mobility and ambulation and other services that must be rendered in accordance with the members plan of care.
